Refractia was born from a simple but profound question: "How do AI models actually perceive brands and identities?"
As marketers and brand strategists ourselves, we noticed a fundamental shift happening. Traditional search was being replaced by AI-powered conversations. People weren't just Googling anymore—they were asking ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity for recommendations.
But here's the problem: brands had no visibility into these AI conversations. They couldn't see if their brand was being mentioned, how it was being described, or what sentiment was being expressed. Traditional SEO tools weren't built for this new reality.
So we built Refractia—the first AI Perception Intelligence platform. We created a new category because the old ones no longer applied. This isn't SEO. This isn't brand monitoring. This is AI Perception Intelligence (AIPI)—and it's the future of brand and identity strategy.
